NBA trade rumors: Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram lead list of potential movers

The NBA trade season unofficially begins on Sunday, December 15, when most players who signed contracts in the offseason will become trade-eligible for the first time this season.

This doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a flurry of trades between now and the NBA trade deadline on Thursday, February 6, but there is reason to believe teams will be active in the coming months.

The Golden State Warriors started on Saturday with heavy trading, but it may not be over yet.

Here are the latest NBA trade rumors:

The warriors are closing in on Schröder

The Golden State Warriors are finalizing the acquisition transaction Netty from Brooklyn Defenseman Dennis Schröder, according to Saturday’s report from ESPN.

The Warriors will reportedly send De’Anthony Meltonwho underwent season-ending surgery in December and received three second-round draft picks for the Nets in return Schröder and a second-round pick.

Butler Golden State’s next move?

If Miami Fever decide to leave Jimmy Butler the Warriors are expected to have serious interest ahead of the trade deadline, according to Stein’s line.
