2024 NFL odds: Will Saquon Barkley best single-season rushing record?

Only eight times NFL There has been a history of a running back rushing for over 2,000 yards, and only once has a running back rushed for over 2,100 yards.

Will be Philadelphia Saquon Barkley become the second person to exceed 2100 and in the process break the record of 2105?

This record was set by Eric Dickerson in 1984, and the closest was Adrian Peterson in 2012, when he gained 2,097 rushing yards.

FanDuel Sportsbook has listed the odds for Barkley to eclipse both Peterson and Dickerson, and he’s currently at +750 to accomplish that feat.

After week 11, he was +2000. However, after the Eagles set a record 255 rushing yards in Week 12, his chances of passing 2,105 skyrocketed.

Before Week 14, his level was +470. Before week 15 +300.

However, after allowing just 65 rushing yards against Philly in Week 15, his odds dropped significantly to +750.

Barkley leads the league in rushing yards with 1,688 and also has the most carries in football (285).

Assuming Barkley plays the remainder of the season, he has three games left to reach 2,106, which means he would need to average 139.3 rushing yards per game.

He is currently averaging 120.6 rushing yards per game. This season, he rushed for more than 139 yards five times in a game.
