Junior Golf? Andrew Novak he said he started slowly. Lost with the players he felt he was better than. But finally he turned around.
College? Novak said nothing too crazy at first. Then he settled down. Then he played well.
And professionals? No wins the first year on Korn Ferry trips, no wins the second year. Then a victory in the third year. He moved to the PGA Tour. He missed more cuts than he made during the 2021-22 PGA Tour season. He posted two top 10s in the 2022-23 season. He had five last year, including a second-place finish.

“It’s always a bit of a process for me to get comfortable at the level I’m at,” Novak said. “I really feel a little more comfortable. I know these golf courses and I think that helped.”
