As world No. 5 and first PGA Tour winner of the seasonMatsuyama easily tops the list of Sony betting favorites, entering the week with +900 odds to win. In addition to his recent strong play, Matsuyama has a total of 11 Tour wins, having previously triumphed at the 2022 Sony Open.
Second on the Sony Open odds list is the Canadian pro Corey Conners with +1600 odds to win. Conners wasn’t among the winners last season, but he has two Tour de France wins and finished T5 on Sentry last week, marking a strong start to the season.
It is in third place in terms of bookmaker odds Tom Kim (+1800) then Russell Henley (+2000).
