According to the Spanish outlet TransferParis Saint-Germain are keen to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle. So much so, that they are willing to pay as much as €100 million to complete the transfer.
Isak has been in fine form this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions and scoring 11 goals, including a hat-trick in Newcastle’s 4-0 rout of Ipswich Town a few days ago. He also has four assists to his name. In the Premier League, he started every match for which he was available, 15 in total, missing only two through a broken toe.
The 25-year-old is under contract with the Magpies until the summer of 2028, meaning the club in the north-east of England will surely demand a huge fee, and it remains to be seen whether €100m will be enough to see it through. Cover it
