Carlos Corberan has been confirmed as the new head coach of Valencia.
Corberan replaces the sacked Ruben Baraja, as Valencia sit 19th in La Liga this season with just two wins.
Valencia reportedly paid West Brom around £3m to activate a release clause in the Corberan deal.
Corberan has been in charge of the Hawthorns since October 2022, joining from Huddersfield Town, who he led to a third-place finish in the Championship in the 2021–22 season.
West Brom finished ninth in the second tier in 2022–23 and fifth in the following campaign, before being knocked out in the play-off semi-finals. As this term stands, they sit in seventh place.
Albion have reached an agreement in principle with Carlos Corberan to leave the club to pursue a new opportunity with La Liga side Valencia.
The 41-year-old is set to return to his homeland with our thanks and best wishes after a two-year spell at The Hawthorns.

Shilen Patel, chairman of West Brom, wrote in X: “I would like to thank Carlos for all his hard work since arriving at Albion during one of the most challenging times in the club’s modern era.
“I am grateful for his contributions and wish Carlos and his family the best in his new journey!”
Corberan, who is signed at Valencia until the end of the 2026-27 season, left West Brom having won 47 of his 107 games in charge in all competitions (43.93%).
His first game in charge of Valencia was on 3 January against Real Madrid.
