Substitute Rodrigo Muniz scored a dramatic 95th-minute winner as Fulham registered their first Premier League win with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Marco Silva’s late changes paid off in spectacular fashion on Thursday, with Muniz and Harry Wilson both coming off the bench to engineer an impressive comeback.
Muniz secured the points with a superb finish into the bottom corner deep into stoppage time before Wales international Wilson bundled in a close-range header in the 82nd minute that gave Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez no chance.
Before the late change, it looked like Cole Palmer’s outstanding solo effort in the 16th minute was going to be enough. But the Blues, who also had a goal disallowed for offside, instead suffered their first league defeat since October 20 and their third of the season so far.
Chelsea missed the chance to move within a point of leaders Liverpool, instead remaining four points below the Reds before Arne Slott’s men face Leicester City on Boxing Day.

Data Debrief: Making History
After three consecutive draws, many Fulham fans did not feel very confident about ending this run at Stamford Bridge, where they had not won since 1979.
However, not for the first time this season, the Cottagers rallied late to win, making a bit of history in the process. They won an away game at Chelsea for the first time in 18 attempts in the Premier League (D6 L11).
And while Muniz would appreciate it, Wilson certainly played his part. All four of his Premier League goals this season have come as substitutes, while eight of his last 11 goals in the competition have either put his side ahead (five) or leveled the match (three).
Meanwhile, Palmer, in his 50th Premier League appearance, scored his 26th goal in 2024, the most by a Chelsea player in a calendar year in the competition.
