Two goals from Joel Pirro as Leeds United moved to the top of the Championship after a 2-0 win over Stoke City.
After Sheffield United were beaten 2-0 by Burnley earlier in the day, Daniel Farke’s side took full advantage to move back to the top on goal difference.
Two goalkeepers were called into action in the first half, with Ilan Meslier and Victor Johansson denying Luis Koumas and Brendan Aronson.
Leeds then squandered a golden chance when an unmarked Manor Solomon volleyed Daniel James’ cross at the far post.
However, Pirro took the lead from a tight angle three minutes before the break.
Pirro scored his second in the 63rd minute, nodding James’ cross past Stoke, who are now without a win in nine matches.

Meanwhile, managerless West Bromwich Albion missed out on a return to the play-offs after losing 2-1 to Derby County.
With Chris Brunt, Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill in charge following Carlos Corberan’s move to Valencia, West Brom fell behind in the 28th minute when Jerry Yates fired over from a tight angle.
Derby doubled their lead in the 68th minute when Mason Holgate deflected Kayden Jackson’s shot, while Grady Diangana’s late header was little more than a consolation for the visitors.
