Frank and Hurzeler disagree on ´fair result´ as Brentford hold Brighton

Thomas Frank and Fabian Herzeler both felt their sides could claim victory as Brentford battled to a goalless draw at Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday.

The Bees secured their second away point of the Premier League season at the Amex Stadium, stifling the Brighton attack to claim a hard-earned draw.

A share of the spoils means further frustration for Frank’s opposite number Herzeler, as Brighton have now failed to win in their last six league games and have been denied a goal at home for just the second time this season.

Despite feeling that the result would have earned them a point based on Brentford’s poor form, Frank indicated at full-time that he felt his side could have secured victory.

“I never play for one point in a game, but sometimes you have to look at the situation,” he told Amazon Prime Video.

“They had some chances in the first half, but not clearly. I think we were really on top in the second half. We missed that clear-cut final pass in attack.
