Paolo Fonseca has been sacked by Milan.
Milan drew 1-1 with Roma at the San Siro on Sunday, leaving them eighth in Serie A.
They have won just two of their last seven league games, while they sit 12th in the 36-team Champions League standings.
The 19-time Italian champions sit eight points off the top four and 14 points behind leaders Atalanta.
“Milan has announced that Fonseca has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the men’s first team,” Milan confirmed in a statement on Monday.

Fonseca was appointed in June to replace Italian Stefano Pioli, who helped Milan win the league title during his five-year tenure, finishing second and 19 points clear of champions Inter in his final season.
So expectations were high from the start for former Roma coach Fonseca, who arrived after two seasons at Lille.
However, Milan have won just seven of their 17 league matches this season.
Amid speculation about his sacking after Sunday’s game, Fonseca was in an upbeat mood, insisting he was “not afraid of anything”.
Former Porto boss Sergio Conceicao has also been tipped to take charge with Milan in the Supercopa Italiana later this week.
