Chris Wood has signed a new two-year contract extension with Nottingham Forest after an inspired season so far.
The New Zealand striker has scored 14 goals in 22 Premier League outings this campaign and has penned terms that keep him at the City Ground until 2027.
Wood was initially supposed to be out of contract in June but followed centre-back Murillo to agree new terms.
The New Zealand international told Sky Sports News: “You can see the dream and the ambition of this club.
“We’ve had a great start to the season, now we’re halfway through. We’ve got so much more to achieve and strive for.
“I think this club, the ownership, the staff, the players and the fans have a lot to achieve to make it a great club again.
“I’m full of confidence and have a lot of faith in me from the manager to my teammates.”

Only Mohamed Salah, Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak have scored more goals than Wood this term.
The Kiwi has taken fewer shots than anyone else among the top-10 goal scorers, converting more shots into goals (34 percent) than those players.
He said: “Scoring goals is the biggest confidence-booster for a striker.
“You still have to work hard for the team and make sure your other teammates are doing well at the same time, but it’s a great confidence-booster when you’re scoring goals.”
