Ange Postecoglou admits “a fair share” of people will think he deserves to be sacked as Tottenham head coach after the home defeat to Leicester City.
After Richarlison scored, injuries to Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khanos left Spurs suffering a fourth successive Premier League defeat.
Sunday’s loss means Tottenham are now without a win in seven top-flight matches, their longest streak since nine in 2008.
Leicester had lost seven league matches in a row going into the match against Postecoglou, only adding more pressure on the Australians.
Asked after the match whether he believed he should be in charge of Spurs, Postecoglou said: “Who knows? A fair share will say no.”
However, Postecoglou added that he still feels he has the support of his players.
“When you’re the manager of a football club, you can feel vulnerable and isolated, but I don’t feel that way.
“The players are giving everything. That’s what I focus on and try to support the players.
“It hurts. It hurts a lot. The players gave it all again. We’re going to see a lot, but in terms of effort, I can’t ask for anything more.”

Tottenham sit 15th in the table, just eight points above the relegation zone, after winning just one of their last 11 league games.
Postecoglou’s side head into the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final with a 1-0 lead over Liverpool, although a lengthy injury list will soon clear up.
“It doesn’t cross my mind trying to convince people,” Postecoglou added of his future.
“I’ve come so far that people will judge where we are at the moment, which wasn’t good enough.
“In the next 10 days, we should have some significant players back. We have a great opportunity to make an impact – I’m sure it will happen.”
