Juventus have asked Chelsea for Axel Desassi’s availability in January, as they confirm at least one defender will arrive.

Director Cristiano Guintoli has said it multiple times That the Bianconeri will invest in mid-season to strengthen the back line.

It is an inevitability After both Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal were sidelined for six months with anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

While Feyenoord’s David Hanko is first choice and Benfica’s Antonio Silva is a more expensive option, Calciomercato.com and IlBianconero.com Point to Disasi.

The centre-back will turn 27 in March and so has plenty of experience, but has lost his place at Chelsea since Enzo Maresca took over in the summer.

Chelsea invested €45m to sign De Sassi from AS Monaco in 2023, but Juve and Bayern Munich are set to pounce on the unhappy France international.

Although he started all of their Conference League games, the defender made just three Premier League starts and spent many of them on the bench.

Juventus are said to have drawn up a procedure to seek information from Chelsea, presumably to see if they would be open to a loan deal.
