Format for 2025 Winmau World Champions has already been set and the routes for the top competitors have already been confirmed and when they will start their expedition in Milton Keynes between Thursday 30 January and Sunday 2 February.
Top 24 players from the PDC Order of Merit, the so-called Łukasz Małyr, Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries for example, it will automatically qualify for the 32-player main event, with 16 players seeded.
This means that no matter what the TV companies and people in the arena are, they will see big names. A further eight players will compete in the qualifying rounds on Wednesday, January 29, including PDC Tour Card holders, PDC Secondary Tour players, affiliated tournaments, and JDC.

The preliminary rounds will feature 32 players who qualified for the final 64 teams and are ranked between 25th and 56th in the PDC Order of Merit rankings. They were joined by 32 group winners from the round robin group stage.
There are 32 players in this group, seeded one in each group, i.e. Players with numbers 57-88 on the PDC Order of Merit. The remainder of the 128 and Partner systems will be randomly selected into these groups.
The tournament in the old format of one of the most historic darts tournaments in the world will be played in a set format. Each set will be played up to three sets won. It begins with three sets in the qualifying rounds, and the full lineup is below.
