West Ham Manager Julen Lopetegui has revealed that Lukasz Fabianski is conscious and talking after being forced off against Southampton due to a nasty collision.

The West Ham goalkeeper required extensive treatment before being placed on oxygen and taken off the pitch on a stretcher.
Lopetegui confirmed after the game that Fabianski did not go to hospital but was still at the stadium Jared Bowen His goal in the 59th minute sealed a 1-0 win for West Ham.
“He had a big injury around the head, around the neck and he wasn’t very sure of his actions,” Lopetegui said of Fabianski.
‘Fortunately the news is he’s talking, he’s alert, he’s aware.
‘I spoke to him, the doctors said he was fine and feeling better. I am positive with him.
He showed that he had more or less regained his senses. i am not afraid We were scared but now he’s fine and it’s a positive feeling because we were so worried.’
Bowen said after the game: ‘It was tough [with Fabianski] But in this kind of situation you have to leave it to the medical staff.
‘Obviously we were all worried, but he’s been in the changing room and he’s in really good spirits, which is great.
‘We’ve also lost Max and Carlos, so full credit to everyone. The bench players are always ready, and they showed that today. All the players are giving the manager a big headache, which is what you want.
‘I think we’re in a good place now, and we’re happy that our fans are going home happy. We are coming off two tough games, but we are full of confidence and we want to keep building.’
