Can you name the top Premier League scorer for every nationality?

There have been goalscorers from 108 different countries since the Premier League began in 1992 – but can you name the leading representative for each of those countries?

English football has become increasingly cosmopolitan over the past 30 years. On the competition’s first matchday in 1992, with only a handful of foreigners present alongside the Scots, Welsh and Irish, players from all over the world played in the Premier League.

A trickle turned into a flood as the 21st century dawned, with top flight managers opening their horizons and signing fistfuls of foreign footballers.

From football heavyweights like Brazil and France to the most obscure Caribbean islands, footballers from almost everywhere have won their way into the hearts of English football fans and become cult heroes at their respective clubs.

But naming the top scorer from every country that has contributed to Premier League goalscoring must be an almost impossible task.

Some, like Alan Shearer, are simple. Others, like the Estonians with just one goal in the competition, are much trickier. We are sure that literally no one can name 108 people on the list in the allotted 30 minutes.

Still, the beat score from the Planet Football office is 79/108 and we’re confident some brainiac will be able to beat us.
