Generations will collide when Ian White plays Luke Littler in the third round of the World Darts Championship, and White has revealed information that really shows the age difference between the pair.
Between White and Łukasz Małyr and the pair will meet for the first time in history at the World Darts Championships.
White had been playing darts for almost twenty years when Littler was born, and Diamond revealed that he played Littler’s grandfather.

White and Littler Sn. they share a history of almost four decades, and White revealed a conversation between the pair before meeting his grandson at the World Darts Championship.
I’m talking to SunWhite revealed: “When I first started playing darts, I played against his grandfather, Phil Littler.
“It was in Runcorn. I beat him all the time! We played for local teams. I played against him plenty of times. We had a fight.
“I wouldn’t have seen Luke in the pub back then – he wasn’t even born then. It was in the 90’s. I saw Phil not too long ago. But it was a bad time. It was at a funeral.
A recent meeting of Littler Snr. and White caused the former to warn the latter about his grandson’s form.
White explains: “When I talked to his grandfather, he said, ‘Watch out, Luke’s playing well.'”
White will play Littler in the final match of the evening session on Saturday, December 28.

Despite looming for a chance at the last 16 of darts’ top tier tournaments, White announced to Littler that he had changed the game.
In the same interview with The Sun, White said: “The boy is talented. He put darts on the map. Everyone wants to come to darts now. All sponsors.
“It’s the best thing that happened to us. I have no pressure. I’ll go out there and play darts. Hopefully nine darters will join – I’ll probably need about eight of them against Luke.
White defeated European champion Ritchie Edhouse to set up a clash with Littler, while The Nuke defeated Ryan Meikle in stunning style.
