Stephen Bunting comfortably breezes past Madars Razma into Last 16 at PDC World Darts Championship

Stephen Bunting he qualified for the last sixteen at the 2025 World Darts Championships without any major problems. “The Bullet” had only one set serious trouble against Madars Razma and won 4-1 in sets.

It was a good performance by Bunting, who still averaged 100.06 despite finishing with a 34 percent finish. With this victory, Bunting secures an English friendly match at Ally Pally, with Luke Woodhouse as their opponent in the next round.

The first set ended 3-1 to Bunting after the former Lakeside champion scored a perfect 113 points in the fourth set. He then convincingly won the second set 3-0 with a 14-darter, a 15-darter and a 13-darter.

The third set really should have been for Bunting as well, but he missed a full hand and won the set 3-2. These misses were punished by Razma who scored 119 to restore the tension for a while.

Bunting dashed any hopes of a comeback by winning the fourth set convincingly. Thanks to two 15-darters and a 13-darter, Bunting took a 3-1 lead in sets.

Then a 96-point score also put Bunting ahead in set five, but he wasted four immediate break opportunities. Razma kept his leg at 54 before a 14-darter put Bunting within a whisker of winning. Razma briefly held on to the match at 149 before Bunting managed to settle the match with a 15-darter score.
