Friday’s training session brought three pieces of good news for Thiago Motta ahead of Juventus’ upcoming Serie A match against Fiorentina on Sunday, but Nico Gonzalez is now a doubt again as he worked out individually at Continassa this morning.

Triple Juventus boost for Thiago Motta ahead of Fiorentina

On the positive side, Teun Koepmainers, Danilo and Douglas Luiz have all trained regularly with the first team ahead of Sunday’s game against Fiorentina.

Lined up as a starter for Koopmeiners 2-1 win against Monza on Dec. 22, but was pulled midway through with concerns about a potential muscle injury.

Brazilian duo Danilo and Douglas Luiz were not named in the matchday squad for the Manja match.

But all three are now in contention to return to Serie A action on Sunday.

Nico Gonzalez is the latest

Despite the positive news on Friday, there is also fresh concern surrounding Nico Gonzalez, who is a doubt ahead of Sunday’s game against his former club.
