Here’s what Calhanoglu told Bayern Munich after summer transfer interest
Although Calhanoglu has a lot of respect for Bayern Munich, he told the Bavarians to ‘talk to Inter, not me’, as he felt it was best to respect the wishes of his current employers.
Kalhanoglu was away with his national team Bayern’s investigation with Inter has been ongoing for Euro 2024, but has since revealed that his agent did not reveal any potential transfer talks until after the tournament.

“The European Championships were going on, and my agent didn’t tell me anything until they were over. Then he called me and said that there are these options. I stopped him immediately and told him ‘talk to Inter, not me, I’ll just do what they want’,” Kalhanoglu said in a recent interview. Corriere Dello Sport.
He continued: “I can only thank the club and those who are part of it. They have always helped and supported me, especially Mr Ausilio. He has been really important to me on a sporting and personal level.
“He gave me confidence and convinced me that I could be an important player for Inter, and I was. That’s why Inter will always decide for me.”
