Peter Wright will face Luke Humphries in the last 16 of 2025 PDC World Darts Championships after saying goodbye Jermaine Watttimena who has been in exceptional form lately.
However, even though many thought it would be an easy victory, when it was confirmed that Wright was suffering from a chest infection, Snakebite’s spirits actually rose.

However, he said it didn’t affect him and it certainly wasn’t like “Machine Gun,” which has been in some form lately. Wright will be hoping to kick his ass in the next round as Humphries will be lying in wait. ‘Snakebite’ might have thought this was an expression of sympathy from Wattimena, but Humphries took no such tact.
“Obviously Jermaine felt sorry for me,” Wright told Sky Sports. “It had no effect on my darts. Not bad for an old guy. It was about the experience.”
“These guys’ support here (points up) and my support there. “Hopefully I’ll feel a little better (against Humphries).”
