Curtis Jones has revealed he received a message from his former manager Jurgen Klopp Soon after his 100th Premier League Attendance at Boxing Day.
Liverpool A 3-1 win over the Foxes at Anfield moved them seven points clear in the Premier League table.
Jones started the game but the home crowd was silenced when Jordan Ayew put the visitors 1-0 up in the sixth minute.
However, the Reds hit back through Cody Steel Before Jones gave them the lead when he headed home from close range.
Mo Salah wrapped everything up and had a message waiting for Jones when he returned to the dressing room.
In fact Jones didn’t know it was his 100th top flight game for the club until he read the text from his old boss.

‘It was Jurgen!’ Jones smiled in the post-match interview. ‘I came straight away, we spoke to the team and I got on the phone.
‘I usually send family and stuff and I saw a text from Klopp, he said ‘Congratulations on 100 games and here’s to another 500′ or something like that.’
‘I was on what, 100? I am more than that! But I just checked Instagram and 100 games, yeah. Proud, really proud.
‘She [Klopp] on Instagram so he can see it!’ Curtis added. ‘But that’s the way he is, he’s still in touch with the whole team.
‘He’s a great man and he still likes us. He made the team we’ve built now, the foundation was already there and Slott carried it on.’
