According to Sky Sport ItaliaLazio are on the brink of agreeing a two-season loan with a €15m option to buy Empoli midfielder Jacopo Fazzini, also linked with Napoli and Fiorentina.
The Biancocelesti are said to be looking for a midfielder, especially with Matias Vecino out for a few months. Report Gaetano Castrovilli will end his contract By mutual consent in January.
Their primary target would appear to be Fazzini, who could come on an 18-month loan with an option to buy in June 2026 for €15 million.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio maintains that the two clubs are in advanced talks and hope to join hands next week.
Fazzini is attracting interest in Serie A

Fazzini will turn 22 in March and is a regular in Italy’s under-21 squad, having spent his entire career at Empoli through the youth academy.
His progress so far this season has been affected by injury, making just 10 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, scoring two goals.
