According to data, Luke Littler is currently a 5/4 favorite to win the World Darts Championship after securing his place in the third round of the competition at the weekend. Instant casino.
In the build-up to Saturday’s second-round clash with Ryan Meikle, Littler was priced at 2/1, but after a 3-1 victory his chances of a first world title dropped to 5/4 ahead of a third-round draw with Ian White.
Reigning world champion Luke Humphries is next in line at 11/4 ahead of his third-round clash with Nick Kenny, while three-time winner Michael van Gerwen is the third favorite on January 2.
“Luke Littler may have survived the weekend with a slight scare from Ryan Meikle, but he managed to outplay his compatriot and came within millimeters of finishing with nine darts.
“We can see him going from strength to strength now that the action is underway at Alexandra Palace and ahead of Littler’s third round match against Ian White he is now just 5/4 to go all the way and make history, after cutting time last week when he had 2/1 to glory.
“We cannot, of course, rule out reigning world champion Luke Humphries, who has an 11/4 chance of winning consecutive world titles, while Michael van Gerwen has an 11/2 chance of winning a fourth PDC World Darts Championship.”
