With the start of 2025, this means we can now look back at which clubs have achieved the highest squad market value over the past 12 months and it makes for some interesting reading. So who are the clubs with the highest market value from January 1?
No club has achieved a higher market value in the last 12 months Barcelona. The Catalan giants gained +196.5 million euros in market value, pushing their squad value over €1 billion to €1.01b. A big reason behind this is the 17-year-old Lamine YamalWho himself has a market value of €120m in 2024. Behind Barca, their El Clasico opponents Real MadridWho have earned €195m in the last 12 months to take their new squad’s value to €1.23b. This is largely aided by signatures Kylian Mbappé (current market value: €160m), and their superstars Vinicius Jr €200m reached this year.
Serie A pair Juventus And atlanta For Juve with an increase of +€188.5m and for Bergamo with an increase of +€161m are third and fourth respectively. In fifth place are Sporting, who grew by +158.7 million euros, helped mainly by the striker. Victor Gaikeres (Current market value: €75m). Two Premier League teams topped Brighton (+118.5m) and Southampton (+104.1m), incl Liverpool (+ €100.4m), Crystal Palace (+ €57.2m), and Bournemouth (+56.2m) also in the top 20.
