Mitsubishi launches Diamana RB to complete the Diamana lineup

Mitsubishi Dianama shafts are one of the most iconic in golf, and their origins date back 25 years. These original Diamana shafts were released in Hawaii and started a series of “boards” that are now in their sixth generation. In 2024 we got WB (white plate) and BB (blue plate), and for the beginning of 2025 Mitsubishi offers us RB (red plate).

The Mitsubishi Diamana RB is the tallest launch shaft in the range and also the highest turning one. Even though the RB has the highest launch and spin rate, it is by no means a “soft” shaft that will only benefit players with a slower swing. Like its WB and BB siblings, the RB is offered in a wide range of weights and deflections, from series 43 all the way to 83 and from R2 to TX. The shaft profile is the classic Red Board with an active tip for a higher launch, which has not been available since the second generation Red Board.

Mitsubishi has also incorporated the latest carbon technology into the RB to ensure stability and excellent feel. The Xlink Tech Resin System is used to reduce the amount of resin in the manufacturing process and create a stronger, more durable shaft. The same 80-ton DIALEAD Pitch Fiber in the WB and BB shafts is used in the RB to increase stability across all weight and flex options. Increasing energy transfer is part of the RB shaft design and is aided by high-grade 80-ton fiber. Mitsubishi also uses 46-ton high-modulus fiber sheets at various angles to control torque and maintain desired weight across the entire lineup.

The new Diamana RB is designed for golfers looking for an extra launch without sacrificing accuracy and stability. Don’t be afraid of the description of the start and spin, you will see them both on professional trips and in amateur bags.
