Belgian GP: Formula 1 agrees extension for Spa-Francorchamps race on rotational basis until 2031 | F1 News

Formula 1 has announced the extension of the Belgian Grand Prix, with the event remaining on the sport’s calendar on a rotating basis until at least 2031.

The race at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit was entering the last year of its previous contract in the upcoming 2025 season.

Under the new conditions, Belgium will host the race for four of the next six seasons – in 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031.

F1 organizers are yet to confirm which track will rotate with Belgium as host in 2028 and 2030, but the move is intended to provide flexibility to meet the significant demand for tracks to join the 24-race calendar.
