The pieces have begun to change in the Premier League’s annual managerial shake-up, with a former favorite to replace Sean Dyche should Everton’s new owners make a move.
Relations between Mourinho and The Friedkin Group (TFG), which are also owned by Dan Friedkin and TFG, grew frosty after the former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur manager was sacked by Roma.
But the likelihood of his return appears to be in Mourinho’s favour, should he make a surprise return in the Premier League. Report says Dyche is on the verge of being sacked bring it on.

Dyche remains in place but rumors of changes at Goodison Park are growing as Everton’s performances in the Premier League continue to deteriorate. Fenerbahce boss Mourinho, who emerged as a surprise candidate to succeed him, had some critical words for Friedkin after leaving Roma.

If Dyche is sacked, getting the team to score will be high on his successor’s agenda. Mourinho seems ill-suited for this particular task, but for a new ownership group it could be a “better devil, you know,” with just a simple survival mission to achieve.
