The Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets each will play a home game in London in 2025.
On Friday, the NFL announced the host team. Their opponents, along with their start dates and times, will be revealed in the spring when the full 2025 schedule is released.
The Browns and Jets will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the fall. Cleveland is 0-1 in London after the loss Minnesota in 2017. The Jets, who are searching for a new general manager and head coach, are 1-2 in London, which includes a loss to the Vikings this season.
“This season we will exceed 40 regular season games in the capital, which is testament to the role the UK has played in the growth of the game around the world,” NFL CEO for Great Britain and Ireland, Henry Hodgson, said in a statement. “The London games are an ongoing catalyst for year-round fan engagement and we are focused on serving our 15 million fans, reaching new communities and increasing participation in flag football, where over 100,000 young people currently participate.”
Meanwhile, the Jaguars will return to Wembley Stadium as part of a multi-year deal to play one home match across the pond per year. Jacksonville is 7-6 in London, including playing consecutive games – one as the home team and one as the visiting team – in each of the last two seasons.
Jagi, is currently interviewing for a new head coachwill play only one match in London in 2025.
The Jets and Jaguars hold marketing rights in the United Kingdom as part of the league’s Global Markets Program, which rewards NFL teams in international regions for building brand awareness and fandom outside the United States.
Starting in 2025, the NFL will be able to host a maximum of eight regular-season games operated by the league worldwide. The league will also play regular season matches in Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and in Berlin at the Olympic Stadium.
Fifty-five regular season games have been played around the world in NFL history, and London has hosted 39 of them.
