The match was moved from Kolkata after Bidhannagar police, under whose jurisdiction the original Salta Lake stadium is located, raised concerns about inadequate security due to the Gangasagar Mela being played from January 10-18.
The Mariners, who are top of the league table, will be looking to extend their dominant record over East Bengal, having won eight of the nine meetings between the two teams in the history of the ISL.
