Beaton Still Top at MSS

On Tuesday, Steve Beaton maintained his brilliant Super Series debut and maintained his position at the top of the standings.

The Bronze Adonis won three of its five matches on day two and hopes to secure a place in Saturday’s final as they start the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Beaton, 60, who entered Tuesday’s match with eight points from the first day of Group A, remained at the top of the table with wins against Devon Petersen, Richie Howson and Robert Thornton and two defeats against Richie Burnett and Robert Thornton. Neil Duff has 14 points out of a possible 20 in total.

Elsewhere, three players: Richie Howson, Richie Burnett and Neil Duff finished the day in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively with 12 points each, while Devon Petersen is 5th with 8 points and Robert Thornton is last place with 2 points.

The Modus Super Series will continue on Wednesday with six riders returning on the final day of Group A hoping to increase their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s final, with Beaton leading so far.

Players placed 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday play, with afternoon and evening sessions taking place on both days, with new players joining the fray.

The match will start on Wednesday at 9:30 GMT and will be broadcast live on The Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or on the websites of various bookmakers around the world.
