Dennie Olde Kalter ended successfully on the third day of the PDC Final Stage European Q School 2025. The 33-year-old Dutchman defeated the Swede 6:2 Oskar Łukasiak in the final at Kalkar on day three, winning the PDC Tour Card for the first time in his career.
For Olde Kalter, who took part in the BDO and WDF World Championships in the past, the Tour Card was something of a surprise. “I had two extremely bad days behind me and I even thought about going home, but it didn’t work out that way. But some friends spoke firmly to me and said that everything could turn around,” Olde Kalter later admits.
“I knew I had to start very well today, after all, my first match was against Jeffrey de Zwaan, and he is a rock-solid player,” continues the Dutchman. “I immediately achieved a high level, which gave me so much confidence that I suddenly started playing well. I had no hesitation throughout the day and I am extremely pleased to have received the Tour Card.”

Interestingly, both finalists started the third day with zero points behind their names on the Order of Merit. “This once again shows what is possible at Q-School. Everything can turn around when everything falls at the right time. Today was such a day and I made the best of it.”
Today, European Q-School continues the last day of the Final Stage. The winner will receive a PDC Tour Card again for the next two years. For the remaining players, this is also the last chance to win the Order of Merit, because the top twelve in this ranking will also receive a PDC Tour Card.
