Tottenham are looking to get over Wednesday’s north London derby defeat to Arsenal by signing a striker who was once tipped for stardom but who has struggled with form in recent years.
After winning 1-0 at Emirates, Tottenham looked like an advantage against Arsenal and they wanted a victory that would help reverse their fate. However, Dominic Solanke’s own goal and Leandro Trossard’s strike thwarted that idea.
This left Tottenham scrambling around the transfer market in search of squad reinforcements, and they could rely on a gamble from the former wonderkid.

The report suggests that following Wednesday night’s north London derby loss to Arsenal, Daniel Levy is keen to give Ange Postecoglou more attacking power for the remainder of the season, with Ansu Fati seen as a good option.
This is despite the 22-year-old making just eight appearances in all competitions this season, seven of which came as a substitute. He has also failed to score or assist this season, but Tottenham are hoping to revive his flagging career.
Once seen as a response to exchange Lionel Messi in Catalonia, after making his debut at the age of just 16, Fati’s career largely stalled due to repeated injury problems and trouble finding form.
