The worst players for every Premier League club this season
Arsenal: Jorginho (6.22)
He looked a bit off the pace against Brighton on Saturday, but pace has never really been to his liking.
Aston Villa: Jaden Philokine (5.92)
In the game against Fulham on October 19, Philokine did him no favors when he was sent off after just 32 minutes on the field.
Bournemouth: Julian Araujo (6.11)
Araujo failed to adapt to life in the Premier League after a lackluster season on loan at Las Palmas last season. Go do the math.
He had been injured for some time and was unable to defend himself.
Brentford: Fabio Carvalho (6.23)
Since returning to London, life has not been easy for Carvalho.
Brighton: Evan Ferguson (6.18)
Ferguson is the best player since sliced bread and was destined for a £100m move this time last year. Now he can barely play and is available on loan in January. This season he has made 10 substitute appearances and two starts in the Premier League, scoring one goal. People might be a little too excited about him.
Chelsea: Christopher Nkunku (6.33)
Nkunku has lived up to expectations since joining Chelsea. Coming from RB Leipzig, he was one of the best strikers in Europe but suffered a serious injury before making his debut. He has scored five goals in the league since his debut in the Premier League and although the goalscoring tally is poor, he has rarely started.
Crystal Palace: Nathaniel Clyne (6.03)
Clyne has made three starts in the Premier League this season and is undoubtedly beyond his best. According to WhoScored, his best league game this season was against Chelsea (6.49) and his worst was against Leicester City (5.52).
Everton: Jack Harrison (6.25)
Everton need more in attack. Dugouts may also change.
Fulham: Tom Cairney (6.28)
Monday Night Football analyst Cairney has one goal this season. It was an important game in a 1-1 draw with London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Ipswich: Calvin Phillips (6.21)
This should be the perfect move for Phillips. He is currently being surpassed by Sam Morsy in Ipswich’s midfield.
Leicester City: Conor Coady (6.07)
Cody was deployed in a back four, which… wasn’t where he wanted to be.
Liverpool: Joe Gomez (6.56)
Gomez’s rating is very high and Liverpool’s selection is no surprise. They were huge and had to be someone.
Manchester City: Kyle Walker (6.27)
Walker has been underperforming for a while now, with his average game rating getting worse each week.
Manchester United: Mason Mount (6.08)
That has not happened yet with Mount at Old Trafford. His best chance is to stay healthy and gain game sharpness, consistency and confidence. He’s screwed, isn’t he?

Newcastle: Joe Willock (6.29)
Willock made 17 appearances and scored one goal. With Sandro Tonali, Joelinton and Bruno Guimarães shining brightly, returning to the starting lineup will be difficult.
Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi (6.11)
Without Awoniyi’s goals in the 2022/23 season, Super Forest would not be in our league. In the blink of an eye, he was no longer a regular starter and became Chris Wood’s backup.
A goal against Wolves wasn’t enough to put him ahead of James Ward-Prowse (6.14).
Southampton: Jack Stephens (5.93)
With two red cards already this season, Stephens’ position makes perfect sense.
Tottenham Hotspur: Archie Gray (6.19)
Poor Gray has been out of position all season. Despite being a scrawny 18-year-old midfielder, he is currently Ange Postkoglu’s first-choice centre-back.
West Ham: Vladimir Coufal (6.18)
Coufal’s place has been given to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but injuries and suspensions have prevented him from performing well this season.
Wolves: Huang Xican (6.17)
Huang has scored 2 goals in 14 Premier League games this season. We expect better.
