The cash prizes For Dutch darts champions The year 2025 remains unchanged compared to last year. The second World Series of Darts tournament will be played on January 24 and 25 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
The opening tournament of the World Series of Darts was a triumph for Stephen Bunting last week. ‘The Bullet’ was too strong for Gerwyn Price 8-4 in the Bahrain Darts Masters final.
Defending champion Michael van Gerwen returns after winning last year’s final, in which he was too strong Łukasz Małyr. Van Gerwen was absent from last week’s Bahrain Darts Masters competition as he was on holiday with his family. However, the 35-year-old Dutchman will want to perform well in front of his home audience.
Next weekend Stephen Bunting will fight for his second consecutive World Series of Darts title of the year
Other PDC representatives include: Luke HumphriesRob Cross, Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall and Peter Wright.
Apart from these PDC players, there are many strong Dutch players such as Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Gian van Veen, Raymond van Barneveld, Jermaine Wattimena, Kevin Doets and Richard Veenstra. Belgian Dimitri Van den Bergh will also be in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
The prize pool for the 2025 edition remains the same at £20,000 for the winner. Runners-up will receive £10,000, semi-finalists £5,000 and quarter-finalists £2,500. Losing in the first round earns £1,250.
