How to watch the Farmers Insurance Open

Most of the events that will take place this week are familiar to both professionals and golf fans. The tournament is one of the longest-running events on the Tour, and its hosts, Torrey Pines South and North Courses, are widely known, especially in the South, which has also hosted two U.S. Opens.

The only disadvantage this week compared to most Tour events is that they will be played from Wednesday to Saturday, a change made so that the final round does not conflict with Sunday’s NFL conference championship games.

The two highest-ranked players this week are also betting favorites: No. 4 in the world Hideki Matsuyama and world No. 6 Ludvig Aberg. Defending champion Mateusz Pawon he also returns to try to repeat as a former US Open champion Gary Woodland continues his brave comeback after brain surgery.
