Łukasz Małyr on double 10 he quickly became a feared spot among top PDC pros, and the feeling of teenage darting was utterly ruthless with 20 points remaining. As it turns out, however, Nuke on a double 10 is not the most reliable finish in PDC history.
According to statistics collected by Darts Orakel in his debut year on the PDC Pro Tour, Littler’s double 10 performance was better than any other player in the world in double 10 in 2024, hitting the target on 50% of his attempts. To find the player with a better single-double success rate throughout the year, we have to go back to 2019 and another PDC rookie, Glen Durrant.
In his debut year in the PDC, ‘Duzza’ proved particularly effective on double 16. Again, according to social media stats guru Darts Orakel, three-time champion Lakeside’s success rate on double 16 was half a percentage point better than Littler’s on double 10.
In 2019, Durrant reached the semi-finals of the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and Grand Slam of Darts, also winning a pair of Players Championship titles. Can Littler break Durrant’s record in 2025? Only time will tell.
