Jack Tweddell leads Adam Sevada after two days of play in MODUS Super Series

Following last week’s ‘Legends Week’ which was won by Richie Howson, it’s another regular week of competition for the team MODUS Super series scheduled for this week. After the second day, Jack Tweddell is at the top of the pack. The Englishman won four out of five matches on Tuesday and now has 16 points, two more than his closest rival Adam Sevada. Dutchman Bradly Roes closes the series without a win for now.

The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament in which 12 players compete from Monday to Friday for a place in the final group, which takes place on Saturday evening. The player who finishes first after three sessions qualifies directly for the finals on Saturday evening. On the final night, players compete in a small group stage followed by semi-finals and finals to determine the weekly winner.

The competition begins again next week, with twelve new players vying for the title. After twelve weeks of competition, all weekly winners take part in ‘Champions’ Week’, which takes place every thirteen weeks to determine the winner of the series and the winner who will claim the top prize of £20,000.

The first week of Super Series 10 is scheduled for this week. After the first day, American Adam Sevada was leading, but after the second day of the competition, Jack Tweddell took over. The Englishman is now two points ahead of Sevada, with one day of play left in Group A.

Gary Stone and Scott Taylor, four points behind the leaders, also have a chance to win this group, but they will need a strong final day of the competition. For Arne Spee and Bradly Roes – the latter still without points – it will be mainly a training session before they are split into a new group on Thursday and Friday.
