Mauricio Pochettino hailed Diego Luna’s ‘big ball’ after the USMNT star continued to play after suffering a horrific broken nose on Wednesday night.
Luna, who plays soccer in her club Real Salt Lake In MLS, suffered an elbow injury during the first half of a 3–0 friendly win over Costa Rica.
He was bleeding profusely from the nose and needed emergency treatment but, somehow, Tullo managed to get back on the field after smacking both nostrils.
In his immediate return to the game, Luna assisted Brian White to open the scoring.
