Real Madrid Deloitte Football Money became the first club to record €1 billion ($1.04 billion) in annual revenue in the league, the consultancy said on Thursday.
The statistics, which cover the 2023-24 season, assess the Spanish and European champions as registering €1,045,500,000 in income at the top of the rankings.
Manchester CityWith 838 million euros, the research ranks second, then Paris Saint Germain (€806 million), Manchester United (€771 million) and Bayern Munich (€765 million).
D Premier League The top 10 is dominated by, among others Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur And Chelsea.
The 20 clubs included in the study collectively received €11.2 billion, up 6% in 2022-23, Deloitte said.
The 2023-24 season saw Madrid win the Champions League Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley, and won La Liga 10 points ahead of second-placed Barcelona.
Their €1 billion figure is made up of €248 million in matchday revenue, €316 million in broadcast revenue and €482 million in commercial revenue.
Progress on the redevelopment of the Bernabeu Stadium, which is now complete, has doubled matchday revenue compared to a year ago.
Madrid’s matchday revenue of €248 million is significantly higher than any other club, with PSG next, at €170 million.
The club’s commercial revenue, which outperformed any rival in the study, grew by 19%.
Deloitte says the gap between the top two ranked teams in the 2025 survey – Madrid and City – has never been wider at €208 million.
