Gary Stone booked his place in Saturday’s final on Wednesday after five wins from five to end his Group A campaign on top after confirming his participation in Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Stone, who entered Wednesday’s match with 12 points after the first two days of Group A, led the overall standings after winning all five matches, recording wins over Jack Tweddell, Adam Sevada, Scott Taylor, Bradly Roes and Arne Spee. finish with 22 points out of a possible 30 points.
Elsewhere, Jack Tweddell and Adam Sevada will compete in Group B after the pair finished 2ndII and 3rd respectively overall, with Tweddell finishing the match with 22 points and losing first place due to leg difference, while Sevada finished the match with 20 points. The duo will be joined by Ross Montgomery, Richard Rowlands and Jake Womack on Thursday and Friday nights.
Scott Taylor, Arne Spee and Bradly Roes will compete in Group C, finishing 4thvol5vol and 6vol respectively overall, with Taylor finishing with 16 points, Spee with 10 points and Roes with 0 points, after 15 straight losses. The trio will be joined by Joe Croft, Alec Small and Neil Meneer on Thursday and Friday afternoon.
The Super Series modus will continue on Thursday, with Group C starting at 13:00 GMT and Group B starting at 22:00 GMT. The game will be broadcast live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via the websites of various bookmakers around the world.
