Real Betis ended the loan movement for the Brazilian winger Antony from Manchester United until the end of the season, announced the La Liga website on Saturday.
Antony began his professional career as a footballer in Sao Paulo, debuting in the first team in 2018.
After two and a half seasons with the Brazilian team he leaned into European football with Ajax in February 2020. The Brazilian stood out during his stay in the Netherlands with 24 goals in 82 matches, winning two league titles and the Dutch Cup.
His large numbers led him to join United in the summer of 2022, the team with which the League Cup and the England Cup won.
Antony played in the older national team of Brazil at the FIFA 2022 World Championships and the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, winning the gold medal in the latter.
