Lady Mark Sears Leading the team against LSU in Saturday night’s game and participating in the Southwistern conference scoring but the goal was held and spent the whole second half Win 80-73 of Crimson Tide Bench
Alabama coach NAT Oats said, “We played the boys that we thought gave us the best chance to win in the second half.”
Sears, a pre-Season All-American, whose average of 19 points per point, went from the field to 0 for 0 with three rebounds, three assists and two turnovers.
Oats point to the conservative continuity, especially in the second half, the reason for the change of lineup.
“I don’t think that our second half’s defense was very good lately, so we made points to the boys, we started playing from the same group,” Oats said. “Our defense was significantly better in the second half compared to the first half and we couldn’t do anything this year.”
