Jimmy Butler: Miami Heat suspend forward again after latest disciplinary issues

Jimmy Butler was suspended for an indefinite period by Miami Heat after the “continuous pattern of disregarding the team’s rules”.

Six-time NBA All-Star, 35, has already been suspended twice by his team this month on disciplinary problems, excluding him from nine matches.

Heat said he left the team training on Friday and was again suspended without remuneration.

They said that the suspension is “indefinite”, but “it lasts no less than five games”.

“The suspension results from a continuous pattern of disregarding the team’s rules, engaging in behavior harmful to the team and intentionally suspending services,” said the statement.

Shortly after selecting the message, Butler published on Instagram with the clip of the American television program Martin, in which the character is joking about being unemployed.
