The draw for the Champions League knockout round is coming up at a new format layout for the 2024-25 season on Friday. Here is what you need to know about the play-offs, knockout draws, competitive teams and how to follow the action as soon as it is revealed.

How does a draw work and who is involved?

24 teams will be involved in the play-offs and the knock-out round. The parties that finish the league’s one in one in the league will qualify for the 1 off round directly. Their places in brackets will be pre-determined on the basis of completion of their league phase.
