Azim’s last fight was a clear win in Ohara Davies in October at the Copper Box Arena. An invincible 22-year-old looked at his best when he dictated the action and dominated Davies from the opening bell, dropping the London in the fifth round before he ended the fight in a spectacular way in eighth place.
After winning and defending the European title in a short time with the victories over French Petitjean and Elock Poulsen, Azim goes to the world level, because it aims to prove that he is ready to take care of the best in the division.
Lipinets are the former world champion of Super Light in IBF. The warrior born in Kazakhstan scored the IBF belt with a unanimous victory of points over Akihiro Kondo in the Brooklyn Center in 2017.
Since then, the 35-year-old has become one of the best pretenders in the super-world and welterweight units with the victories over former world champions Lamont Peterson and Omar Figueroa Jr.
