Botev Plodiv’s Zingarevich still in dark over Bulgarian ban, but his club is thriving

On February 2-Russian owner Anton Jingervich, a Russian owner of Plovediv, said he has not yet received any official explanation from the Bulgarian authorities as to why he was imposed on a five-year ban from living in Bulgaria.

Business Bulgarian has given an online press conference for the media that companies from the United States, Europe and Asia have shown interest in achieving Botave Plevdive.

However, the Jingervich club was classified not to sell the club, which he said that he made it a profitable and sustainable business with the opportunity to increase it.

“There is still no official explanation for the restrictions imposed on me. There is no statement. If something goes wrong then I should have complaints against and there is nothing at the moment. I believe that there is no basis for imposing restrictions and I hope that the case will be resolved and my restrictions will be lifted. I don’t believe that my absence from Bulgaria can prevent Botev Plvdiv’s financing, “said Jingervich.

He emphasized that the club had financial difficulties that caused the ban on the Bulgarian residence.

“The club is not just a football club, it is a company. When I bought the shares in the club, it had € 700 000 income every year and now we have about 10 million dollars. The day I arrived in Bulgaria, I saw the good business and I still think this is the case.

“Botave has been successfully performing for the last 3-5 years. There are already interest from various people from the United States, Europe and Asia who want to buy the club. But this is not my interest. My goal is to develop more for the club and register a higher income of $ 20 or $ 30 million per year, “he added.
