Brighton striker Ivan Ferguson joined the West Ham with Loan O.
The Ireland forward of the Republic will contact his former Brighton manager Graham Potter, who made Ferguson his senior in the club in 2021.
Ferguson, a 20 -year -old, has made only 15 presence this season, out of which 11 is from bench.
Ferguson told West Ham TV, “I can see and find out how big West Ham United are.
“I want to come and do the best for the club, to make goals and see where we go” “
Ferguson has been sideline in ankle injury in recent weeks but returned to action on Saturday in Brighton’s 73th minute 7-0 defeat In Nottingham Forest.
His only goal this season, and his first in November 2021, was a 2-2 draw against Olverhampton Wanderers in October.
Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeller said, “Ivan’s injury was disappointed with 12 months and he had to play regularly to the level he was able to play and continued,” Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeller said.
“This Loan gives him that opportunity and under a manager he knows best.
West Ham is currently missing the injured forward Jarod Boen, Niclas Fulcrog and Michael Antonio.
Ferguson enjoyed a breakthrough season under Brighton Potter in 2022-22 because he scored six Premier League goals and was nominated as PFA Young Player of the Year.
“I’m glad we were able to bring Ivan to Loan by the end of the season,” Potter said.
“He is a player that we know very well, so I am grateful to the board for bringing him in.”
