What do the rules of dropping the ball behind the divot dropping zone say?

Golf rules are difficult! Fortunately, we have a guru. Our The guy’s rules know the book from the front to the back. Do you have a question? He has all the answers.
If the surrounded drop area is chewed with divisions, can the player be allowed to fall behind the designated area? It seems to me that this is a fair accommodation. —Phil Riley, San Diego
Phil, if the dropping zone were elegant and encouraging, everyone would like to play it!
No, you can’t withdraw from it-it’s DZ (see model local rule E-1), and the ball must be thrown in it and played from it when the committee put it into force. (It is assumed that you decide to use the abduction zone option; it is usually optional.)
For what is worth if the drop zone is seriously chewed, the committee can paint a new one between rounds.

The game with my friend while playing after playing, he came to 17. Four shots in front of the pitch, but only one ball remained. Without knowing if the rules allowed the borrowing ball from another player and to face a long pair of 3 above the water, he asked if he could bypass the shirt hit and head directly to the drop zone through the water, lying 3, lying 3 to prevent such a possibility of losing the last ball. He would still have a lead with two arrows, with a much safer shot in greenery. Legal? Creative thinking anyway, right? —Dave Trent, Wilmington, NC
Creative, yes; Legal, no. Think about the zone dropped as an exclusive night club called “The Drop Zone”, where you can not just talk – you have to be on the guest list. (Yes, guy rules know what a night club is, even if he prefers the libraries.)
According to the 17.1b principle, access to the drop zone requires the ball to rest in the associate penalty zone. “Rule 1-piÅ‚ka”, a model local rule G-4, rarely applies differently than for elite professional and amateur competitions. Assuming that this is not the case, your friend could indeed borrow a ball from another player if he ended.
