Jeffrey Sparidans He immediately secured a high place in the WDF rankings after winning the Dutch Open male singles tournament last weekend.
The ranking is still run by Jimmy Van Schiewho surprisingly lost to David Fatum in the last 32 years at Assen. The American was a losing finalist in Dutch Open and moved to the 29th place to WDF ranking. Danny Van Trijp and Martijn Kleermaker were lost semi -finalists. They are in a common 108 place with 103 points each.
Danny Porter, Brandon Weening, Peter Machin and Ben Robb remain intact when it comes to the rest of the top five. Also for Sparidaans it doesn’t matter much for his hope for the lake. The title has already reserved this place. Among these known names, Leonard Gates is still in the top 15. Finds 11th place.
Neil Duff, former WDF world champion, as well as the current winner Shane McGuirk, are part of the 32 best. They both didn’t add points last weekend. Many of the best names did not play last weekend, because it is quite Dutch, heavy, heavy stages.
Speaking of Master, it was his first WDF tournament for over two years for Sparidaans. It is after playing in PDC tournaments for the last two seasons as a touring card holder. This also left Sparidans without position in the WDF rankings. By winning the Dutch title, Sparidaans accumulated 270 points at one go, introducing him to the rankings in 28th place. In addition, Sparidaans guarantees participation in this year’s WDF World Championships in Lakeside, because Dutch Open has the status of platinum in the WDF calendar.
